The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has charged newly recruited police constables across the country to serve with empathy, fairness, and integrity as they begin their careers in law enforcement.
Egbetokun gave the charge during the passing-out parades held at various Police Training Schools nationwide, including those in Ogun and Imo States, where 469 constables graduated after six months of intensive training.
At the Police Training School, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, where 205 recruit constables completed their training, the IGP—represented by the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo—urged the officers to uphold professionalism and demonstrate courage, loyalty, and discipline in their duties.
