An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has extended its earlier order restraining the United Bank for Africa Plc from paying, releasing, or tampering with funds belonging to the 30 Local Government Areas of Osun State.
Justice Ladiran Akintola, who presided over the matter, said the order would remain in force until today, Friday, when the case is scheduled for further hearing.
Earlier, counsel for the plaintiffs, Musibau Adetunmbi (SAN), informed the court that the Peoples Democratic Party had filed an application seeking to be joined in the suit.
He, however, disclosed that his team would oppose the application, insisting that the case was straightforward and did not require multiple parties.
